Bear and Honey

I enjoyed cutting and layering this “Bear and Honey” image by Kinda Cute Stamps. I originally made him too big so I resized him to fit on a 6×6 patterned paper. This idea came from Vicky P. on YouTube. I die cut a bee image and made it look like it was leaving the honey. I hope this card makes you happy.

Hooray!

Hooray for me! I finally had a chance to sit and play with Simon Says August 2019 Party Like a Panda card kit. I went wild with the panda die once I figure out that you need to create a base to adhere the pieces to. Once I did this it was no stopping me. I colored and fussy cut the presents and their party hats. I also added glossy accent to make them pop.

Slumber Party!

I just love this little girl,  “Jr Hatter-Pipper” by Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I am starting to feel comfortable using E57, E35 and E33 for the skin coloring.   I am also following Outlawz Twisted Thursdays color theme of red, blue and yellow.  I got creative and drew in the moon and added glitter gloss.  For the coloring of the moon I credit Kit and Clowder’s May 18th Markers class.

Life is Good!

The image is called “Happy Morning” by Little Blue Button Stamps and it is perfect!  It is like me waiting for the first cup of coffee or Frappuccino with whip cream on top.  Starbucks is to expensive so sticking with homemade coffee.

Spring Flowers bring Hearts

I love the idea of spring because it has been raining cats and dogs here in the Central Valley.  We are not to far from the San Joaquin river.  So when I was coloring up this image “Primrose Darling Buds” by Polkadoodles all I could do was wish for the sun to come out.  I also color the flowers using a technique I saw Darlene use over on LiveLoveCards.

So I hope she will bring spring and sunshine to where you live.
