The Flying Nun

Who remembers that show with Sally Field called the “Flying Nun”?  This image by Cute As a Button brings back memories of watching this every Saturday morning with my siblings.  I printed her out on pattern paper and paper pieced the clouds and clothes using my Scan N Cut.  My sister said that her outfit is too busy and why orange clouds?  But I know for next time.  I loved the color combo!

OMG! Halloween is just around the corner and the next thing you know it is Christmas.  Some how we always skip Thanksgiving.  This year has truly went by so fast, but I am here to share a Halloween card that I made for Betty Roberts (https://www.facebook.com/groups/327988990989584) new place.  She was so kind in doing up two images-the 1st image is Arachnia Ana and the 2nd is Pumpkin Penny:

I love all things sweet!  And I think this image, Cupcake Peeker, by Bugaboo stamps is perfect.  I was so in a hurry to put all the layers together I forgot I was planning on entering her into a sketch challenge…

There is something about frogs! They are cute but not enough to hold them. Too slimy!  But this little cutie “For You Froggy” is by My Stitch Back in Twine and I paired him up with Heartfelt Creations “Winking Frog” paper collection.

Coffee Please

I See Grey

Just using 4 grey’s and a hint of red I was able to color up this adorable image “J Chilling” by Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps.  I added glossy accent to her shades and to the butterfly just to have a little dimension.
